Nacho Crunch Sticks

Cheesy, crunchy, and oh-so-satisfying—this dish is easy to prepare and will be a total hit with hungry students.
Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
Preheat convection oven to 450°F.
Step 2
Arrange tater sticks in a single layer on sheet pans. Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
Step 3
Place peppers and onions in a single layer on sheet pans. Bake at 450°F for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Preheat a large skillet or tilt skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, break into smaller pieces, and cook until almost brown. Drain fat if excess. Add chili powder, cumin, paprika and salt, stir to coat beef. Add beans and salsa, and continue to cook until the beef is cooked through and no pink remains.
Step 5
To assemble, place 1/2 cup tater sticks on tray. Top with a #30 disher of peppers and onions, then a #6 disher of beef and bean mixture. Serve with .5 oz. of cheese and a #30 disher of salsa.
