Loaded Crispy Chicken Katsu Sandwich

You won't find a more flavorful, hand-breaded chicken sandwich around. With creamy avocado spread and caramelized onions on a fluffy sesame bun, this one will surely be a crowd favorite.
Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
Prepare the Everything Bagel Avocado Spread, see the recipe here.
Step 2
Combine buttermilk and 1 cup of chili crisp in a bowl with whisk. Add chicken and marinate for at least 4 hours.
Step 3
Combine flour and cornstarch in bowl. Dredge each piece of chicken in cornstarch mixture and fry immediately in 350°F fryer until internal temperature reaches 165°F. When cooked through, coat with remaining chili crisp and set on wire rack.
Step 4
Prepare onions according to package instructions. Prepare fries according to package instructions. Hold warm.
Step 5
To assemble each sandwich, place fried chicken on bottom half of bun. Top with onions. Finish top bun with avocado spread and place on top of onions. Serve with fries.
